Ross has served as a political strategist and communications expert on hundreds of campaigns for nearly every level of elective office in California, Nevada, New York and throughout the United States. In this capacity, Ross was responsible for crafting political strategy, message development and testing, media planning and buying, and media production in broadcast, digital, outdoor, and social media.

With hundreds of film, television, and radio production credits, Joaquin's award-winning broadcast advocacy campaigns on behalf of clients, including the United Farm Workers and the California Children's Hospital Association, have involved directing actresses Jena Malone and Jamie Lee Curtis, and working with artist and activist Yoko Ono.
